Dreams and Monsters: The theatrical orchestra of Rameau
Celebrate the orchestral imagination of operatic revolutionary Jean-Philippe Rameau in a must-see performance by BEMF’s own star-studded Orchestra. A Festival tradition since 1985, director Robert Mealy leads this astounding collection of instrumentalists in a dramatic and vivid program sure to delight. Enjoy breathtaking sonorities, propulsive and kinetic dance rhythms, heartbreaking arias featuring stellar singers, and guest appearances by dancers Caroline Copeland and Pierre-François Dollé.

Join us at 7pm for a Pre-Concert Talk with Professor Rebecca Harris-Warrick.

“A dynamic, red-blooded performance.”
