Our story is set at the court of Emperor Charlemagne. His daughter Emma defies the royal code of honor by falling in love with her father’s secretary Eginhard. The struggle between Love and Duty collide in a heart-rending finale.
Telemann’s vibrant score interlaces his genius for comedy with searingly tragic arias and gorgeous dances. Experience a uniquely compelling night of theater with this fully staged production showcasing stunning costumes, elegant Baroque dance, opulent sets, and truly captivating music.
