Concurrent Events

BEMF Concurrent Events offer unique opportunities to hear from and interact with some of the top scholars and artists in Early Music today, including Free Concerts, Performance Masterclasses, Pre-Opera Talks, Dance Workshops, and more.

FREE PERFORMANCES from BEMF's 2025 Young Artists Training Program participants and 2025 BEMF Beyond Borders.

BEMF Dance Director, Marie-Nathalie Lacoursière leads a participatory DANCE WORKSHOPS exploring aspects of Baroque dance featured in Boston Early Music Festival opera productions. This unique event is always popular and limited to the first 50 participants.

PERFORMANCE MASTERCLASSES allow students, as well as professional musicians, to receive a public coaching by some of the top performers in the field today. Auditors are encouraged to attend.

Saturday at the Exhibition is FAMILY DAY—admission is free for parents and children with a class on Renaissance dance and a scavenger hunt at the Exhibition!
